2nd trip to Bovington, August, 2009

We go back for a second visit. Many things have changed - they've remodelled!
Funny story - Steve's nephew had a birthday so we offered to take him. The women

And he was....

Bovington is an active military base, home of the British armored corps.

On this day they were giving rides in a tracked transport (background),
and driving around a Firefly. When they fired the cannon, it woke us all up!

New monument for the armored corps.

TO THE TANKS!

Little Willie, the very first tank ever. (No jokes about having a little willie...)

Here's a little light tank from WWII.

Another experimental tank.
